If Ayrton Senna was a young driver today..

.. would he win everything up against Alonso and Co? This is assuming he's the same driver, same age as he was in the 80's and 90's, but time travelled to today. He's built up such a legendary status as the best driver ever, taking a car beyond it's design capabilities. So I really wonder if he would have stomped over the other drivers and won most grand prixs and championships if he was a young driver in the 21st century?
 
Also, he had to take his hand off the wheel regularly to shift gear. No paddles then, at least, not for the early part of his career.

schumacher was already starting to beat him in the early 90s anyway.

im sure if schumacher would have died in 2005 he would be rememered as better than senna


I generally tend to think that too. Sportsman are often elevated to loftier heights if they die. Could Senna have gone on to win 7 championships or more had he not been killed? We'll never know unfortunately, but as you say, schumacher was starting to beat him, so, probably not.
