If I buy one of the kits from OcUk what else do I need?

Thinking of returning a H100 I bought to corsair because the fan controller in the pump doesn't work. I really like the mayhems pastel red coolant, and it would go nice in my rig which is Haf-X, red lighting and red / black colour scheme BitFenix cabled

so a couple of questions for one of the clued up water lads please...

- if I bought one of the kits from ocuk (either an EK kit or one of their own) what else would I have to buy so I could put the kit in without running into a wall halfway through. Everything from the ground up (psu short out thing / biocide / tubing snips etc ?)

- What maintenance do you have to do on custom water loops, and how often?

Link to the kit you want and we can go from there. You will almost certainly need coolant though, possibly a proper tube cutter and maybe some tube clips. Will be more acurate when you decide on a kit (OCUK V12 is the best by far btw)

As for maintainance, you don't really need to do any once you're up and running, though most people would change their coolant every 6-12months (though it would probably be fine for years)

OcUK Tech Lab - V8 Watercooling Kit 240

Would be a straight 240 rad in the H100 for a 240 custom. I can't cool graphics cards because one of the cards in my sli set up is custom pcb

You put the mayhems into that Kit an if you do go with the pastel you leave it for up to 3 yrs and then do an overhaul which basically means taking the loop apart, cleaning everything out and then refilling it

Good on you for getting rid of the H100
