Do you have a selection of screens on display where people can come down and check them out? Would love to see what the Dell 2408 can do and if 'I' like what i see instead of reading everyone else thoughts of it.

Or is that asking way too much!

ColiN - always asking....

The short answer is no. Sadly very few places where you can see monitors in the flesh and working. Even a well known high street store doesn't have most of the best screens.

It's one man working out of a shed on a dodgy council estate. That's why.

(Goes to look up competitor, it isn't)

Many years ago in the late 80's during the Atari/Amiga days there used to be a company called Leeds Computer Centre and they had the biggest adverts you'd ever seen in magazines that would spread over 16 pages.
One day I went to buy an Atari ST 40 meg hard drive (£500) and it was one man working out of his shed on a dodgy council estate.

Just an idea, and prob why im not a busisness man lol..

I agree with you, I think its disgusting that a firm like OCUK can't have all 72 monitors on display and at different resolutions.
They should also have a viewing area for their 24 Plasma/LCD screens and another area for their 152 graphics cards .....................................................

Maybe a bit extreme, it would be nice if they had a few on display, representetive samples/ best sellers.

No. There are a couple of systems set up mainly for people viewing the OC website. It's quite a small shop.

Dont expect ALL screens + graphic cards to be on display. But there are other shops that if i where to say i am not sure about which screen i wanted, if they had in stock would put them onto a KVM and set up a demo fopr me to view it working.

Was just asking if OcUK had something simaller where they might have 3 or 4 screens with 3 or 4 graphics cards running a demo for people to see, if they see it and like it, they might buy it...

Depends on the size of the shop of course and if they are selling like hotcakes any way, why bother :) But i still think more people would be interested in going to see a screen for £500 working than read a review to make their mind up. Works in TV centers with sound systems...

IMO
