Go back to 1776, where i'd sign a book with three others and make our own country, after turning on our own people. We could expand over many years, eventually after winning WW2 and Vietnam, we would be close allies with Europe. We would have a few disagreements, but we would make it to the moon first. We would hear of weapons of mass destruction in the middle east, so we would have to stop these from being used, we would then be lucky - as if blessed by god, who we trust - and find oil as it happens. Eventually, we would set up an operation to spy on Europe and our people. We would be the greatest nation on the planet, all because we would eat cheese with everything.
