I'll be upgrading my gfx most probably when we see AMDs next gen of HBM2 cards but I'm looking to get my freesync monitors early next year.
No freesync support on the 7950s obviously (well for gaming) so could I crossfire it with say a cheap 285 or 390 series card to gain freesync support?
I'm guessing yes if it's set to the primary card and all the displays are fed from this card.
are there any other cards I could crossfire the 7950 with? I know DX12 enables a lot of multi card functionality but I'm wondering about the here and now.
Also are freesync, crossfire and eyefinity all playing nice with each other yet? I'm wanting 1440p eyefinity so I'm guessing I'll need two next gen cards to pull off decent framerates? 1080p eyefinity is still a possibility mind or a mix of 1080/1440p @27"... eg. 1080/1440/1080 is that a possibility?
