as the n70 is contract only, youll have to pay sim free which is ~£300. The SE k750i is £170, as is the samsung d500. if your budget will stretch to £230 the samsung d600 and the SE w800 are both good. all have a 2 MP camera apart from the d500 which is 1.3 MP IIRC.

the v3i is good a solid improvement on the v3 and would be good - i just hate the gui on them! can't fault it on sophistication though...

its up to you though, each person has their own tastes, my advice is to get down to a phone shop and try them all out!! :D

Was not aware the N70 was that expensive, I could have sworn my mate has just picked one up for around £180, il have to check with him.

edit: And theres no way the d500 can be £170 its absolute crap  the d600 can be had for that price im certain.

d500 is crap why? Please explain your reasoning?

People rave about the d600 and its primarily the same just better screen and camera and expandable memory

its crap for the price, as its an old phone now, when it first came out it was considered decent, now its just old and bland

You may aswell go for a contract phone.
You can get the N70 from Orange with half price line rental for 6months, no faffing around with cash back.
Online the phone is free, in the shop it's £50 but then you can give them your old phone for £50 credit on your account.
Which is what I did, basicly paying for the first four months upfront. I also go three months free wap, just need to cancel it after three months.

i really cannot be assed for a contract. Ives seen a d500 unlocked for 250, could someone tell me what pre-pay is? is it the same thing as pay as you go?

who in their right mind would pay £250 for a d500:rolleyes: i wouldnt pay £50 for one. 6230i's can be nad for less than that. hell even 6630's are only £129 on orange. just a shame you cant unlock them easily.

ok so, i might as well scrap the unlocked idea, which pay as you go phone shall i get on orange. (i like the look of them, they seem like a good phone network)

Its not crap, its utter **** imo. I had one and the screen messed up after about 5 months. Almost every person I knew who had the fone, had the exact same problem with it. Not only that it feels very cheap and tacky. Luckily I got mine replaced for free then quickly sold it off :)

Mate you can pick them up for even less the £250 unlocked on all networks, brand new. Just keep an eye out on the well known auction site :)

For £200 you have quite afew options available, dont buy anything without having a good read about it first.
