If I have 16gb (in 2 8 sticks) will this be the new best choice

If I bought 16Gb RAM in Dec 2017 as follows:
Team Group Dark T-Force 16Gb (2x8gb) DD4 PC4-24000C16 3000Mhz Dual Channel Kit Dark Grey

Would the above link work to take to 32Gb on a Gigabyte AB350 3 AMD ATX motherboard. Even if the new stuff is only running at 3000?

Should work it will downclock to 3000mhz but nothing is gauranteed when it comes to pc.

Go to your motherboards support webpage and find the memory QVL list - it’ll list all RAM that has been tested with the computer.

in my experience, Any Crucial set of DIMMS will work with AMD as it’s Micron. Can’t vouch for the above brand though.

that being said, a lot more RAM modules will work with AMD now than before.
