If I have Post Office Home phone are there restrictions to which ISP's I can go with?

You are best asking the ISP and they can tell you - I dont really understand what you are saying, but most ISP's like sky etc will even pay for the line in certain circumstances

I believe Post office is just a normal BT line but you are paying the Post office who in turn pay BT. So you do have a BT line.

It isn't LLU so you need a BTWholesale ISP unless you want to also change your phone line. But it generally isn't that bad unless you are locked into a contract.

You can still have LLU internet on a normal BT phone line. You certainly don't need to take an LLU phone in order to take advantage of an ISP's services, unless (crucially) they make it part of the deal. For example, TalkTalk insist you take their phone line as a package with their internet. Others don't - for example Sky, UK Online etc.
