I was wondering if the Monster Hunter Games would be my kind of RPGs?
If I like Phantasy Star Portable will I like....

Seeing as the gameplay and co-op mechanics in the Monster Hunter games is deliberately similar to that of Phantasy Star Online, I would say a definate yes.
The only major problem is finding other people you know with this game for the Adhoc play, unless you have access to a Japanese PSN account and sign up for the adhoc Party for PlayStation Portable beta.
