If I place an order for other components, can buy a GPU?

I'm about to spend around £1400, but I'm realizing I can't do anything without a GPU. Is there a way OCuk can sell me a GPU for around £600, total budget £2000?

I'm obviously not reselling, I just need a new PC.

You could go the pre-built route, I believe some of their stock allocation goes towards those. Alternatively hang around here and keep an eye out for the new forum code GPU drop.

If it's purely for gaming then you're out of luck until stock becomes available. If it's for other uses also then you have some stop gap options like iGPU or cheap underpowered second hand etc.

Didn't you know all the retailers have a Scrooge McDuck style GPU pit that the bosses swim in? When they get tired, they eBay a couple for £300 more than RRP. It's how they are funding the vaccine-new-world-order-mind-control-globe-earth plan. Wake up, sheeple!

Welcome to pc building of 20-21.

I started part buying pre black Friday, I'm still not quite done but close.

Besides that, Gibbo and friends might be releasing some more gpus to forum participants/gamers this week ... Read the posts. That's how I eventually got mine.

lots of retailers have a separate allocation for pre-built machines, so if you are building a whole new PC and need a GPU then you will be better off getting them to build it as you then might actually be able to get a GPU

Buying a pre-built PC and running with it, or buying one and selling the bits you don't want, is the best way to achieve what you are looking to do currently. As bizarre as it may seem...

There's always something I don't quite want in a prebuilt, I'm going to have this PC for at least 5 years, small things will annoy me.

Your £1400 is penauts, and will not get you to the front of the que. Nice try though . In the words of Borat................................................................... NOT!!!!!
