If I was to switch from my Asrock 939 dual, to a Msi Neo 2 Platinum AGP board, with my AGP video card, on the cheap WOULD i have to re install windows again.. I will not be changing anything else at all. It is just as I can get my cpu much higher I believe, Amd 3000+ 64 venice, just need to be able to go higher than stock voltage :o I believe this board is a very good clocker. For AGP anyways :)

I do have an AGP card which is not a problem aswell, and wont need to switch until I get a Conroe system at christmas/jan time.

Thanks. Please help! ;)

If i were you i would reinstall windows when switching motherboards as you will have to install new drivers for the other motherboard, it can be done without reinstalling windows but may cause a few problems.

What kind of problems, also, before I switch I''d remove the "Uli lan" drivers all the drivers for asrock 939 dual, which should help, just want to quickly swap the motherboard lol, like a 25mins job ;)

Well you have a different motherboards chipset drivers installed, so you would get no end of problems, but if you really wanna try it, then just remove the stuff of that board from the device manager, but as said above best doing a full re-install of windows, as you may still get problems. :)

:p Might jsut scrap my idea as a whole

My Amd Venice 3000 64, at 2.5ghz (38% increase) is good enough, won't have any problems till conroe I believe :)

Is there not a modded bios or volt mod you can do to the ASROCK mobo that lets you up the voltage?
There is a volt mod, it lets you increase the voltage to 1.55V.
I would try this before buying a new mobo. If you mess the mod up then you can always go and buy the msi mobo.

Erm, if I mess it up wont other components break when I ATTEMPT to start the pc up, also, is 1.55v for a vencie 3000 too much?

Will it break like 6 months down the line at 1.55v ?
