Gave the garage a quick tinkle asking about its history, turns out it was reposessed by a finance company, who lost its service book. Dealer contacted BMW who gave him its service history which only dated upto 2007 with 32k, so the car has 3 years service missing and 35k miles.

He went on about how it was the cheapest 54 plate in the country, I said there's a reason for that though, its got no history.

I'm surprised the mileage is as high as 60k. You'd think they would have clocked it back to 50k rather than 60k.

Even the passenger seat looks ****ed in that, let alone the drivers.

Aye it looks like its done a lot more than 60k from the wear on the seats, and having "lost" the service log book means its anyones guess as to its history.

Im betting its actual milage is closer to 100k if not more. Tried to look up its history on a few basic free HPI sites, 2 of them said the registration doesnt exist, 1 of em found it.

Whilst this one is obviously dodgy I have seen some good buys that are similar.

There was a dealer in Bristol who had a lovely 53 plate facelift coupe with 100k on the clock up for £7500 the other month.

Looked good for the money, and was up at a dealer who is 'decent' (well, as decent as a dealer can be!).
