Hi.

I've been wondering, if my Crucial ram was to break and I wanted to get it replaced or refunded, would I need to send it off in its packaging it came in, as I'm selling some ram and have lost the old packaging so I was thinking of using the cruicial ram packaging to send my old ram in.

Thanks
Willz.

You could probably get away with an anti-static bag and a padded box/jiffy bag.

Years ago I had to send back 512MB of PC133 to Crucial and I didn't have any packaging as it was just bought from a local PC shop. only took 3 days to get my replacment as EK is only half an hour from where I live lol.

It's funny now i come to think of it,

If I bought some Crucial memory from here Crucial would send the memory all the way to OCUK and then they would then ship it all the way back to me lol.

Crucial just recommend that it's packed securely. They don't expect you to keep the packaging.
