If only the natives were this eager...

Not at all. Just some of them.

How often do 5000 British unemployed turn up to a single jobs fair?

When they dont get the dole I would imagine they would.

Native-bashing eh?

Meet you at the 5 points, knives only.

Poles are hard working mind you the ones I know live in some dodgey setups. I basically met a rather nice Polish lady in Cardiff, anyhow we all went to town one night and I went over their house before hand. This two bedroom terrace seemed to house 11 Polish people...was all abit weird.

That's funny, you didn't make that distinction in the title.

I assume you have statistics for the average job fair attendance? I assume you're not just being prejudiced against Brits and pro-wanton immigration to go with your love of NuLabour

The only thing I fear about the amount of immigrants is where will they stay?

I know that in my area at least there is a huge council house waiting list, and unless your homeless or about to be, there's a slim chance of being housed.

Just goes to show what a little determination and effort can acheive. They put a lot of natives to shame.....

What racist twaddle.

That willingness to do jobs that employers say British workers don't want, was at the heart of the boom, said Bob Owen of Polcat, a Doncaster safety training firm targeting the Polish employees market.

Sounds like pre judging british workers to me. That would be prejudice .... I thought that wasn't allowed.

Always quick to knock the natives aren't you Visage

It does go to show that one of the best motivations for people is to have very little to begin with. These poles have very little back home and very little opportunity so are hungry. Clearly allowing people such comfortable lifestyles on the dole is not the encouragement that they need to get off their couches and into the workplace.
Yet you never seem in favour of reductions in benefits do you?

I do not know why people who have lived in Britain for many years could not be offered the jobs which are being taken up by east European immigrants. The arrival of fresh immigrants to this country puts pressure on the already stressed housing, health and education services of this country. This country is now bursting at the seams because of the pressure.

Nice Anglo-saxon name there.....

That's what I disliked about it, throwing us all into the same boat because there are some jobs available which aren't particularly pleasant.

Ever worked in a basement kitchen in the middle of summer? That's not very pleasent.

It was a normal loaf of bread! She did eat some odd food, but the other girl who lived there before her had similar tastes and she was a Pole. :)
