If there could only be 1 console developer

Right okay was just wondering if there could only ever have been 1 console developer who would you of want it to be and why ?

Personally id have to go nintendo or sega can't quite decide yet but those 2 have/were always about having a good time and bring innovation to the table.

What do you guys reckon ?

my original question wasn't about competition because its blatently obvious taht competition is a good thing it was just a question about personal preference and your thoughts on this purely out of interest

Indeed but its bound to spark PS3 Vs 360 comments, which is ashame.

was trying to talk in terms on company rather than console to avoid that debate
