If somebody made a game that plays like timesplitters for PC, would it be awesome?
Imagine dedicated servers and all that such
I think it would, but what about the OCUK community?
Now, I am aware Crytek have some of the old FRD people keeping their hopes up with the game (they could be making it now who knows) and the same people are also making the crysis 2 multiplayer. So we may be in for a treat. But would it even be likely that the future Timesplitters 4 (not completely cancelled) would be on PC, who knows yet. Anyway if it doesn't have dedis it's another waste of time game so we would be dissapointed.
But, apart from tf2, it's about time an arcade shooter came out for PC (killing floor is good though).
Personally, as a programming project if I ever work on a PC shooter I would aim for something that feels like Timesplitters with good old mouse and keyboard.
