If WAR had HDR

I think they need to make keep sieging / defending fun first, fighting against a couple of wooden doors all night just isn't what I paid for :(

Looks nice. In general MMOs are usually going to be the last to implement really flashy stuff though as a lot of the market for them won't have high end PCs and they want to appeal to as many people as possible. It's one of the reasons WoW did so well on launch as it ran reasonably on almost anything with a modest 3d chip at the time; although obviously its heavier on systems nowadays.

To be expected I suppose, but WAR's fps bombs for me when a WB gets together - 1680x1050, all details on regular play = fine. WB and it drops like a brick. I've actually got most things turned off now (8800GTS, 6600, 4gb RAM)

Even if they put all the fancy effects in the game, I couldn't turn them on!

=/

I have an 8800GTX, a Q6600 @ 3GHz and 4GB of ram.

War drops at to around 30 or so FPS with a full warband.

In a large zerg you hit 10FPS, in a normal RVR instance you'll hit around 20FPS.

It's not THAT bad =/

edit: that's with all maxed out btw.
