There are many components/combatants in any conflict as you well know. They were but a small part in the overall proceedings...to think the Ahfgan's took a hike during the war is silly at best.
There has never been nor ever will be a perfect war...it is the nature of the beast. We do what we can with what is available, right or wrong at times. Perhaps it is my age or military service that skews my vision at times...I hope not to the point of being without reason. I will call this dicussion concluded for the day as I must rest these old bones.
