Trust me, 46" LCD TV's look crappy at sub 6foot viewing distance. Using triple TV's for games isn't a new thing, people who build racing sim rigs tend to go for them given the distance they tend to be away from them.

A friend has 3 x 42" TV's set up like this, all 1920x1080 but sat pretty close to them playing gives you a headache, just too big IMO
