If you build it, they will come .....X1950XT AGP

I don't think it's going to heat with that big block of TEC mounted on it! :D

An awesome upgrade for anyone without an X1950 Pro/7800GS and are looking to stay on AGP.

Although I think that it would be worthwhile stumping up the extra for a cheap motherboard and going PCIe, a cheap motherboard for S754/939 will probably only set you back £30-40 nowadays. :)

How much will it cost i wounder to the x1950pro HIS 512mb AGP. As i thought when i bought my card that i had bought the very best agp card you could buy and would have excelent resale value as nothing else was "supose" to be coming out after the x1950pro agp. :(

I have my newly shrink wrapped HIS - RMA coming back to me on Monday, seriously thinking of EBaying it, although a bird in hand .....

Hj, just ask them to keep it and ask for the money instead. Will save on postage as well. They should do this for you as well. Since it is going to a be a new card and shrink wrapped they can sell it new.

I think thats come 4 months too late tbh, cost will most likely be £200...

why does it say at the bottom of the 8800gts 320mb that you need a 16x pcie bus on ocuk
Wouldn't be the first time OcUK made a typo, but if Nvidia told them to write that then it's silly. We all know the GTX needs a 16x link but the GTS doesn't.

This all sounds great! I am sure it will cost mega bucks.
If history means anything at all, I will not be the first one to buy one of this monsters from hell!
I will wait and see about this one, What will it cost? $$$ and maybe some tears.
Did someone say "bottle neck" or was that just a echo.
My HIS X1950 Pro ICEQ3 Turbo 512MB AGP is still running strong!
I think my friend is going with the VisionTek X1950 PRO XGE 256MB.
Why I asked? There apears to be no problems with this card, as it is a stable design and does not fail as much as the "better on paper" x1950pros.
Maybe I should sell him my HIS X1950 Pro ICEQ3 Turbo 512MB AGP and I will get the new RADEON X1950XT 256MB
No, I don't think so, don't want to push my luck. Reading all these posts of poor unluckly souls.
I'm happy with what I have and I really do not want to change that warm and fuzzy feeling. If you know what I mean.

My next move is to pci, I think my agp system is on it's last chapter in my book.
