If you can't find a wallpaper from any of these..

There's a shot somewhere in there of the Arrows A2 'Buzzbomb' car - think it was Patrese driving? Anyway, it's such a great photo because it represents one of the few times since the '70s that a team really tried something waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay outside of the norm. Alright, so it sucked. But it looked good, and they tried hard, and that should count for something! :) Generally, the only time anyone sees that car now is when the infamous battle between René Arnoux and Gilles Villeneuve at Dijon-Prenois in '79 gets replayed on TV - you can see the A2 in the foreground as Arnoux and Villeneuve come over the line to start another lap of trying to decide who has the largest trouser-department....

Superb, a great find and currently adding them all to my 545357437349889435794837894375894389437894375789 Gig collection :D

LOL, I was pottering around the pages and spotted one that looked a little odd:

Pretty sure that one's a combination of Grand Prix Legends, the 1969 mod, and Photoshop :D

Oh damn you. I either saw that or the photo it was inspired from earlier and it didn't strike me as anything untoward... now I look and all I can see is GPL. Not helped by the resolution being an exact desktop size.

I think it was a Jordan that had a snakeskin style look to it, liked that car a lot!

Hissing Sid!

Jordan had a number of mascots that were featured on the nose of its yellow B&H cars for a few years. There was a shark, a snake and a hornet that I remember.

The creative agency we now employ designed one of those Jordan liveries - bitten and hisses - the snake. Proper old school, but even then there was huge emphasis on the weight of paint for the car and other considerations.
