if you checked your lottery numbers yesterday

and discovered you had 4 numbers but today realised you'd lost the ticket, even though it is a relatively small amount (£40-£50) how would you feel?

i feel pretty gutted
 
glad that it was only 4 numbers and not 6 i'd lost, so i'd be a bit more careful in future, just in case......
 
It is possible to make a claim even with a lost ticket if you know where/when you bought it, I think you might have to wait for the 90 days or whatever to pass though, look it up.
 
i should've been more careful, didn't even take it out of my works trouser pocket and went to the gym, the gym i onlly renewed my membership to on saturday because he did it with a £15 discount and i'm quite sure the ticket wil have fell out in the gym changing rooms!
i will have to tell myself something nasty would have happened had i still got the ticket and went to cash it
 
I got £105 last time I got 4 numbers

Really irritates me that you only get that much and you're one number short of the jackpot :(
 
A guy I worked with about 12 years ago had a bit of a crap situation.

We worked afternoons/evenings, 1:30 to 21:00 and we watched the draw one night and he got 5 numbers I think it was, or 5 + the bonus, I dont recall.

Anyway, we knew that it was a lot of money, a few hundred thousand from looking at the previous weeks (this was when it was only saturday draws) breakdown.

He was about to quit his job there and then, we talked him down and told him to wait in-case there where 5 million other people that got the same numbers!

Anyway, his girlfriend didn't put it on that day, she went out with one of her friends instead and he reason was that she was busy.

He came in work the next night and told us, I am surprised he didn't kill her tbh.
 
You should contact the Lottery people as someone else from the gym may claim your ticket. I'm sure that there is a way of claiming even if you have misplaced the ticket. What is there to lose by just picking up the phone and making the call?
 
wasnt there a post on here about someone who found a ticket and it won and how they got done for theft or something because the person who lost it claimed it but said they lost the ticket... or did i just imagine it?
 
You can claim without the actual ticket but there is a relativley short time limit. Phone Camelot or check the website & they should walk you through the process. As long as you are genuine there's no reason you can't still get your prize.
