Shining Force 3. It was a Sega Saturn game, designed to compete with FFVII, and was actually meant to be released in three parts, though only the first was released in Europe.

GP2 (Sony had the F1 rights for years and only made rubbishy PS games. Codemasters are bringing something out in 2010 I believe. Will be an arcadey game methinks but hopefully decent.)

Loved this game on the spectrum.Oh and Lunar Jetman.
On the pc maybe Tie fighter or x-wing had these back in the day.They could really do these games justice now with modern gpu's.Or Strike commander that was pretty cool too.
