I already have games installed on XP if i was to dual boot vista, can i then run games from the same drive that i am currently playing XP games on or do i need to install one copy of the game for XP and another copy of the game for vista?

TIA

you will need to install the games on both OS's for all the registry entries etc to be added, but you can install to the same directory. Ive dont this on mine. So theres only 1 copy of the games files on your PC.

some games actually work fine such as COD4 and BioShock which I have on my XP drive and access from Vista, Crysis needed a fresh install.

Most games you dont need to re install.

COD4, GTA SA, Bioshock, Timeshift, Lost Planet, STEAM and its games, think UT3 does too, UT2004 needs re installing but all I did was get the registry value from the registry and all I do is install its registry value and no need to re install, I suspect it will be the same for games like UT3.
