Would you go for option A, or B?
A) C2D e6600 (£200) and £160 ram, such as the Geil Ultra 2.0GB 800MHz (4-4-4-12) with Aluminium heat spreader
Total: £360 (or an extra tenner for GSKIL 4-4-4-12's)
Or
B) C2D e6300 (£120) and more expensive ram at £200, such as the Team PC2-6400 Xtreem Micron 4-4-4-10 Dual Channel kit
Total: £320
There's not that much price difference between the two... but I'm interested to know what you think, would A be worth spending the extra £40 for? How would they fare performance wise?
(Other main kit I will be buying is: Asus Commando or P5B D or P5W D Motherboard, Big Typhoon cooler, seagate 250GB hd, 512MB 1950pro GPU)
