Have a week off training and debating on what game to play/complete...
Got a choice

Fallout 3 - GOTYE or Mass Effect.

Love both types of game, after this week my game time will be very limited so what would you say it worth completing/playing and why?

I loved Fallout 3 ( so play it sometime), but Mass Effect is probably better overall.

If Mass Effect had a better combat system (I just didn't like it) I'd say that, but as it doesn't suit my tastes my choice would be FO3.

Mass effect, not because its better per se, but because you might not manage to get everything done in fallout 3 in a week.

Only just got Fallout 3 today, but really can't beat Mass Effect for excellent story and cinematic feel that the whole experience provides.

FO3 for me. Massive fan of KOTOR so thought Mass Effect would grab me, but it didn't. Planning on reinstalling it at some point though.

I felt the same and in true Bioware fashion the first few hours were a slog, but once you get past Citadel and start exploring it really picked for me. I must have had the game over around a year and started it twice before finally getting into it.

Pretty much the same for me, started playing again a few days before ME2's release and promptly finished both games. Excellent Bioware stuff. Didn't get into FO3 but I'm sure I'll give it another go at some point.

Fallout 3 gets the vote from me.

IMO the gameplay is too linear in ME, limited in where you can walk around and what you can do etc. Still a very good game though.

ME will at least be possible to finish in the timespan mentioned.

I personally prefer FO3 tho hands down but you won't be doing it any justice if you cant commit to it fella.
