try disabling the dhcp server and set the ips of the machines manually - has massively speeded my internet up for some reason on my usr9105.

I'm guessing the internet sped up because you rebooted the router after changing to manual IPs, or the router is broken.

DHCP does not slow down a connection.

I already had each PC on the network using a static IP address. the DHCP was just left on because I didnt think of turning it off until a mate mentioned it might help speed the Internet up and I thought it was worth a shot...

maybe the router is broken, it has a lot of crc, hec, and es errors.
