Get yourself down to Asda - £2.68 a box. Better than the £6 you generally have to pay if you want them.

I picked up a box about a month ago from Asda and was quite surprised to see them on sale. But compared to the Fruit loops i brought back from Canada earlier in the year, these UK sold ones are a lot more bland ie the Canadian version seemed to be more sugary whereas the uk ones sold here in Asda arent.

Same thing in Australia, i was there for a few weeks earlier this month and they had fruit loops and they were very similar to the American/Canadian ones i had earlier.

Love fruit loops, loved them when i was a kid growing up in Canada.

Asda do seem to do a lot of American foods now, picked up a few bags of hershey kisses...something else im addicted to:p

Haven't tasted them yet so i can't comment compared the to ones from the "American online food / shop" places - the box does have "limited edition" on it so i guess they wont be around long.

**** edit ****

Just tasted them and Yas786 is spot on with the taste however for the price i can live with it :)

I paid like £1.70 a box in tesco a couple of months back, it's not that nice, it's not the same as the US one.

The new lion bar cereal on the other hand......yum.

The UK ones are nasty.

They are multigrain vegetable coloured and healthy.

I want luminous yellow and blue ones, and sugar should be first on the list of ingredients.

I actually got a little fun sized box of Fruit Loops from an american import site a while back, and as I recall I wasnt that impressed by them. Not nearly as sweet as I'd expected and not even all that much flavour to them.

Had the same issue with Apple Jacks. Could taste the cinammon, but the apple flavour was weak as hell. Fruity Pebbles, Cocoa Pebbles or Marshmallow Pebbles on the other hand... yum yum!!
