I was going to fill up at the Shell in Uttoxeter when I go home next weekend as I assumed it would be cheaper than down here - hopefully prices are back to normality next week!
Filled up today and noticed that on my filler flap that it says "Min 95 Ron" but underneath it says "Super, Premium, blah blah blah".
I'm confused. I used to put V-Power in my ST because i thought it would benefit from it and was going to just whack normal unleaded in my new car (Fiesta Metal) as i didn't think a 1.6 NA would benefit from the higher octane. Why would the filler cap recommend Super?
Brimmed with V-Power anyhow to see. I also like the double points on my V-Power card also.
All fuel sold in this country is 'Super' grade, 'Super Plus' is 98 RON+. In Germany for example you can get 91 RON (Regular), 95 RON (Super) and 98 RON+ (Super Plus).

I had an issue at the weekend and could only find one Shell station with V-Power, took me over an hour to track it down ironically wasting the V-Power in my tank! Needed it for racing the next day and was starting to pap it until I managed to get a couple of Jerry cans filled.
