If you were to build a uber graphics setup which platform would you use ?

As in the title if you were to build a 3 or 4 way card setup which platform would you use and why.

The above is a simple question but with a lot of things that need to be taken into account.

This really interests me as to which people would use, X79 or X99 and why.

Having said that it is also very interesting to see what GPUs people would use too and their reasoning.
