Alright Guys
Am looking to upgrade my GPU but am a bit concerned about my current PSU
Rig is as per sig and its all powered by an EZcool 700w JSP700.(not the greatest of brands) Was looking at replacing the 8800GTS with a GTX480. Used the Antec website to calculate power draw with the 480 and it came to 643 watts (Current System 504w).
Being a lesser brand PSU is it likely to blow up if I put any more load on it, and is it likely to be able to supply anywhere near the rated 700w?
PSU has worked faultlessly for the last 2 years so it cant be all that bad can it?
If I am gonna need a new one for the 480 then all recommendations welcome.
Cheers
Bob
