Clean power to make your hifi sound better sounds great and that but is there any science behind it? Or we firmly in magical golden ears territory?

The iPower X is £100 and I'd use it to power my K11 R2R DAC (which I've just got and I love!)

Thanks for the replies. D

I own an iFi Elite and a couple of the iFi iPower2's. There very good PSU's, and very popular on the Wiim Facebook group as an upgrade on Wiim Pro / Pro Plus. The iFi Elite is meant to be as quite as a battery, it was an improvement in sound quality from the iPower2.

Never owned an iFi XPower, but Alpha Labs tested one and measured output from a streamer / DAC.

Thanks for your replies. JasonM - I think £300 is way out of my price range, but I might keep an eye out for a deal on one of the cheaper ones.

Keep checking on eBay,Ii purchased all mine from there about half retail price including the Elite.

complete and utter nonsense. They also make LAN and USB silencers- haha

I'm sure it all make a measurable difference somewhere, it's how much it translates to an audible difference. TBH my amp is probably the weak point in my system and probably needs a service or to be replaced.
