IGMP Forwarding + Snooping?

... no but seriously, I have these options on the Router and IGMP Forwarding is set to enable but Snooping is Disabled. What do they do and do I need them? Security risk?

I did a google but was very confused! Seems like it's something to do with how multicast data is sent? But what is multicast???

Nope. Just ignore them.

This is about the only thing using multicast in the UK.
Other than that, Google is your friend.
