IGN - PS3, Wii & 360 - Game of The Year

My picks for what IGN are going to pick for their GOTY on each system are.....

PS3 - Modern Warfare 2
360 - Modern Warfare 2
Wii - New super Mario Bros

they even play the MW2 music at the end. :/

Batman AA deserves way more credit than MW2 since its a whole new game and not just more of the same.

MW2 doesn't even deserve any credit, nothing is improved from the first one, the story if anything is worse. The mp is just update, that would be a DLC or patch on anything but this game. Spec ops was the only thing they added.

Standard fare FPS with a decent MP game.

I agree though IGN will eat up this update where they would slaughter another title for more of the same.

Uncharted has to win it - great game and probably the most absorbing of them all. Best game i have played in years.

Killzone 2 is also great but MW2 - although addictive as hell, is just an update of MW.

Between PS3 and 360, usually the 360 one is slightly better (usually in terms of graphics or frame rate) so some sites mark the 360 version slightly higher, and as the metacritic score is a mean average, you usually see a difference of 1%, because of this. Rarely the PS3 version is better, and the same applies for a difference in scores.

Between 360/PS3 and Wii games, usually because the game is played differently, due to the unique interface off the Wii. Sometimes this means higher scores for the Wii version, sometimes lower.

360 metacritic includes 360 only magazines. PS3 metacritic includes PS3 only magazines.
