Ignition wire?

I took out a standard head unit in a vauxhall astra 2008, i brought all wires to make everything work evan the steering wheel but 1. that dont work so i cant change songs via the wheel but thats not a main concern atm i always have to take the head unit out as it always has power going into it evan when the engine is off how could i fix this?

Generally swap the permanent and switched live feeds in the head unit loom.

As above, most adapter looms will have the bullets pre crimped so you can split and switch the wires

This, I think it's the yellow and red ones you need to swap (but check first). Had the same problem fitting an Alpine unit in my mum's Astra.
