My fault I know I ordered a Zalman CNPS9500-LED Aero Flower from Overclockers for some stupid reason I chose Royal Mail 1st class post that was last wednesday and guess what it never arrived.

Its funny how my letters with pieces of paper get here but the heaver object does not I dare say post that could be of value always gets lost/stolen.

Just a warning to anyone who might think about using Royal Mail don’t bother.

Why didn't you choose special delivery? or at the very least recorded delivery?

We use Royal Mail everyday at work to send packets via the above methods and they always arrive on time.

City Link is another matter.

I've had parcel farce turn a ~£400 guitar into a £250 guitar due to their heavy handling. It was in a hard case with bubble wrap filling the dead space inside and the case was wrapped in thick cardboard, they still managed to dent and scratch it. I'm still going through the claim process with them so i'll see whatthe outcome is.

It's tricky to find a good one though because you hear bad stories about almost all delivery companies.

Good luck and i hope you gett a replacement one :) Companies are usually good at making right problems with shipping :)

Millions of items a day going thru the system so guess some are bound to get damaged/lost.....but then i am a bit biased!!!

As long as the sender gets a proof of postage (which is free) item covered for about £30ish.

Hey -)G(-Sawyer,

yeah man I know it can be a pain, especially when your looking forward to getting a new piece of kit and all, hang in there it should come good! :)

On my side of the fence I think the Royal Mail service is great, they always hammer on my door until I get out of bed, or if I'm out and they leave a card the local sorting office is about 500 yards away, kinda works for me!

On the other hand its the big courier companies that cause me stress, City-Link, Amtrak and worst of all is DHL!!!

If I ever get the choice in how the item is sent to me I always, always go Royal-Mail.

anyone heard of those stories on the news/radio about some postmen that have actually dumped stuff instead of delivering it? lol, im sure i heard of one not long ago about some bloke who dumped a sack of letters and stuff into a quarry.. or was i just dreaming it :o

sounds funny but shouldnt laugh, half of them are probably important.

I must admit, given the choice i always use Royal Mail special delivery. If i miss it i can go and pick it up the same day. Other couriers don't give you that option, they also tell lies. I had my present mobo delivered by a courier, i waited in all day, nothing. When i rang the following day they told me a card had been put through the door, as no one was home. Blatent lie, plus of course no card either. The driver obviously could'nt be bothered to deliver. That never happens with Royal Mail, at least it's never happened to me.
