IHS-LESS CPU Heatsink compatability

HI, Can people please post what heatsinks work with IHS-LESS Athlon 64's.

Maybe i'll make a chart for people to see, I need to know for a mate also

Pretty much any that dont use the clippy things like the stock cooler though not sure if any stores state what kind each heatsink uses

I know that the Akasa EVO120 will definitely work without an IHS

It screws into it's own backplate (the top of the backplate is different but it fits the standard A64 backplate on the back of the motherboard so you don't need to remove the motherboard to fit it)

I've bought one and it isn't bad, although it's very noisy on full whack (very quiet on minimum though)

Exactly, the ones that bolt down rather than using the retention bracket.
