IIS 7 when going to internal router IP

When i go to 192.168.1.1 on my server PC it redirects to IIS 7 splash page. I can get to it on the VM it hosts and other PC's so it is not the router.

I can also get to it using my subdomain:8080 externally so it def cannot be the router.

I have ipconfig /flushdns, restarted all dns/dhcp services and bounced both server and router but it still does it.

It didnt do this until very recently, no changes to IP addy or anything like that but I have updated to windows 10, but it has been working fine since day 1 as I logged on to set the dhcp reservation for various new VM's.

Has anyone else seen or had this? When going to 192.168.1.1 (or your default gateway IP) it redirects to the IIS 7 splash screen?

Thanks

I've seen this while trying to access a Internet resource on a server = http (8080) instead of https (443) but not the over way round.

Have tried to disable IIS on the Server?

When I say server it is just a older PC with windows 10 on it, not running server 2012 or anything special.

When I use HTTPS:// it gives me no page at all.

I'll see to disable IIS but it works if I go through externalIP:8080 or subdomain:8080 or if I use a bridged connection VM it works fine.

I'll be formatting it soon and upgrading the motherboard and CPU, end of next week hopefully.

It 100% is the PC in question as others on the network are fine. I wonder if the host file has a weird entry in it...

Well IIS was installed, not sure why is was installed on this PC, if it was for a reason it escapes me now!

Uninstalling it still takes me to the IIS splash page...

Driving me insane now...
