I have a server which recycles an application pool at 2:45pm everyday, It has recently been brought to my attention that during the summer it was running at 1:45pm (according to the logs) which is an hour early.

I've read up and apparently it's using UTC and not the local timezone which is GMT, is there anyway I can change this because I can't for the life of me find anything about it!

Go into IIS application pools, locate the pool and click properties. In there you can set all the options for recycling the app pool - CPU, time etc...

Strange, which log are you looking at to find out when the recycle happened - the one in the System Event Log?

Our IIS7 machines are set to recycle at 5am and they do it at local (server) time rather than UTC.
