iiyama prolite adv contrast

I have had this monitor for 2 years now, and i have only just noticed this setting. What is it and what does it do ? cant seem to find any info on it.

Not much...
It's something to do with enhancing the colours, but since I find my own Iiyama to be both WAAAAAAAAAAAY too bright on the backlight side and the blacks to be somewhat more 'pastel black' than actual black, I'd instead recommend just setting up the basics and then using your GPU software to sort out the image proper.

I could probably just read the manual, but that's too much like hard work!

Have turned it on and off and see no difference, hence why i asked. should have looked at the manual yes lol
