I haven't used this one I'm afraid but have used very similar business monitors from Iiyama. If performance of those is anything to go by it will be a well built and solid performer. No better than the B2430, really, but if you prefer a less mainstream glossy look it could be worth a thought.

I've had two at home for a week or so (to go either side of my existing DGM 26 incher for an Eyefinity setup). So far, cannot fault the screens - image is nice, crisp, clear, colours look as good as the DGM and are consistent across both monitors. They feel fairly solidly made and robust, DVI works perfectly (not tried VGA or HDMI) and no dead/stuck pixels on either screen. So far, they've been perfect for gaming and desktop use and I'm very happy with them. Stand doesn't raise but it does adjust for tilt.

Is there anything in particular you want me to check out on them as I can give anything a try when I get home tonight?

If you're happy with the look of them it sounds like you're onto a winner for £140. They may be older and slightly less flashy looking than some newer models but the technology inside is essentially very similar.

well just ordered the iiyama prolite e2409hds for £140 delivered and with 3years warranty hope I'v made the right choice but all the reviews are good so can't wait.
