Iiyama ProLite E2409HDS 24"

Hey guys, I was thinking about ordering the Iiyama ProLite E2409HDS 24" and I was just wondering whether or not the monitor itself is worth the purchase. Does anyone know what the screen is like? whether it is good for gaming? whether the contrast ratio is high enough as it is 20000:1 where as I have seen some with like 12000000:1 does it actually make a huge amount of difference? I really don't know much about monitors.

Any advice or information is welcome, it will all help me. Cheers guys.

I have the Iiyama B2409HDS - not sure what the difference is between the E2409 and the B2409 but my monitor is superb.
No ghosting at all... brilliant for gaming.
20000:1 on mine too.. Plenty in my opinion.
My brightness is turned down to 21/100 and Luminance down to 50. (i don't like a bright monitor but this has masses of brightness to give!)

E for economy or entertainment - for home use
B for buisness

Main differences are the finish and stand.

B is matte black finish with a height adjustable stand (plus tilt and swivel) - you can swivel the screen so that it is in portait mode (for a big word processing screen) but it must look really out of balance like that.

The E has a simple fixed stand (tilt only).
