i am looking for a new monitor and am considering buying the IIyama Prolite E2475HDS as it is on offer for £150

can anyone comment on how good this monitor is, i have seen a review here http://www.digitalversus.com/lcd-monitor/iiyama-prolite-b2475hds-p11893/test.html

although this is for the b2475 and not the e2475, am i right in thinking that the only difference is the swival stand? And even though it says it is a bussiness monitor, will it be good for gaming? (i am currently playing skyrim and BF3)

i did originally look at buying that one, but heard that the early models suffered from servere ghosting. so that kind of put me off.

decisions decisions, why does it have to pick a monitor to buy.

The 27" of that model has no ghosting what so ever. And judging by the reviews and the 2ms response time I don't think that 24" model will have ghosting either.

iiyama is a pain in the butt with their version numbering system. Everything looks alike and they got so many on the market at the same time.. some have some weird postfix as well that is impossible to figure out what it stands for.

The only monitors you should be weary of related to streaking/ghosting are the ones starting with an X I think, those use a VA (or IPS) panel which with at least one of them is a bit too slow.
