Ikea Pax Wardrobe Problem

I've built a single 50cm wide pax wardrobe with a mirror door it does feel flimsy so will need fixing to the wall. However on fitting the door when closed the gap at the top is a lot wider than at the bottom and no amount of adjusting the hinges will close it. Anyone have any suggestions or is the door/ frame likely to be warped ?

I think IKEA wardrobes use Blum hinges, well mine does, so they should be adjustable with the screws like kitchen cabinet doors are. It will probably be the screw closest to the actual pivoting piece of the hinge, turn it so it protrudes further on the top hinge and do the opposite on the bottom hinge to even it out. It will take some fiddling but its simple to do.

Hinges are on the other side, it does look warped which you wouldn't think with it having a mirror glued to it.

Take the door off and lay it on a flat surface, that will show if it's ok or not. If flat then you need to play with the hinges on other side again.

Looking from bottom to top, it looks a gradual increase in the gap.

Adjust the door accordingly, out a bit at the bottom and in a bit at the top.

I have this wardrobe in my daughters bedroom and the door is pretty heavy so I'd be quite surprised if it was warped.

As ZG says i would first lay it on the floor to determine if it has warped a little. No point spending ages trying to adjust it if you then find out its warped.

You definitely sure you are adjusting the hinges correctly? I remember spending ages trying to line up an Ikea door then realised I was doing it all wrong. Read some instructions online and then saw how I should have done it all along.

Mine looked like this on the mirrored doors no matter what I did.

I then consoled myself on the fact I paid less for my whole Pax and Besta install throughout the house than a single made to measure unit or 2 door wardrobe from one of the more premium suppliers.
