IL2?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a game similar to air attack that I used to play on wireplay.

I find the arcade type of flying games more interesting than sims and was just wondering if IL2 is like an updated version of air attack or is it more sophisticated?

I had it as new long ago, All I remember was it was very nice looking and raped my PC (high end then) if you indeed mean IL2 Sturmovik.

I cant remember if you simply fly and shoot or need worry about flaps/airspeed etc.

I know the game is now updated.

Il2 is a sim, but it has enough options that you can make it into an arcade style game.

I think you'd struggle to find anywhere to play online that isn't running pretty realistic settings though.

Using one of the Dynamic Campaign Generators gives a good single player game though...
