iLife '08 - upgrade

Hi,

I'm sure when iLife 08 was announced, Apple offered an upgrade to users with the previous version of iLife - if they had owned it for only a relatively small period of time. Can anyone pin point this for me please? I'm having trouble finding where I saw it, I'm sure it was approx. £9.99 to upgrade.

Is mac software really this easy and as quick as this video makes it look. Im so tempted to use my employee discount and get 20% off a new imac. Never had one before. watching all the videos makes windows look rubbish.

So is the new iLife any good? I fall into the bunch of people that has to pay the whole £55, would have to be a lot better to justify that i think, although i am tempted as only got my mbp in march.
