illuminated keyboards

im looking for a illuminated keyboard for under £30

at the momement i have narrowed it down to the

microsoft sidewinder x6 vs Saitek Eclipse II

any user experience of the above keyboards, good bad etc

i read that the sidewinder backlight is brigher than saitek

also is there anything better than the two mentioned above

The Saitek Eclipse II is more of a backlight, the light is under the keys but you can't use it to type in the dark, it's more for aesthetics than anything else. It's a really nice keyboard though, I've had mine a couple of years now.

I've got the Saitek, love it to bits. I don't have any problems typing in the dark (although to be fair, probably not doen it much, definatley works great for FPS games in the dark).
