Currently have an aging logitech keyboard which hasn't missed a beat, but would like something a little quieter and one that would illuminate the keys (not just the areas around them).

Looking for : Quiet (Think MAC Quiet)
Backlit Keys
The feeling of actually having pressed the key....

Any recommendations? Having tried some on the high street, disappointed so far =\

If you want a more exotic (and obviously pricey) suggestion, you could try a mechanical keyboard and fit rubber o-rings around the switch to dampen the noise. Should have a nice linear response without the unpleasant knocks into the backplate.

Thanks Guys

Ghosting...how do you mean?

It's no so much for Macro keys or Gaming as mostly play FPS.

When a press a combination of keys, some of the key press are not registered. Doesn't happen on mine, but happen on the newer versions. Logitech doesn't want to fix the issue, probably to pimp their gaming keyboards.

Otherwise, a Sidewinder X4. Solid all rounder, and not very expensive, not especially quiet. Saiteks are OK, and I stay away from Roccat in general.
