Illustrator CS3 polar grid tool

Hiho,

Im creating some interface elements for a uni project and i want to use the"polar grid" and "star" tool's (which ive seen used in many web tutorials) yet i cant find them anywhere on the tool menu and searching in the help box doesn't bring anything up either.

I'm running the CS3 Design Standard - Student Edition and was wondering if because it's the student edition it doesn't include those tools, yet i cant find any information relating to that on the web searches i've done.

The star tool is in the shape menu, hold down left-click on the rectangle to expand the shape options.

The polar grid tool is accessed in a similar manner - find the line tool, and hold down left-click to expand and see the other tools. Polar grid's in there

lol, i just found that out by accident. Didn't realise you had to hold down to get it to open. Was wondering why some of the tools had little black corners but didnt expand >< I feel like such a dunce now
