Illustrator question

My friend created a brochure in illustrator CS2. He saved it as PDF and ticked an option which saved it as a multi-page PDF file.

I tried opening it in CS and I do not get that option. Has anyone ever saved an illustrator file into a multi-page pdf in a version lower than CS2?

I think that you can only open one page at a time after saving it in Illustrator.
